Yes — once we accept your request, we send a secure Stripe payment link to complete payment online.

Yes — and you can do it yourself right from the link in your confirmation email (or look up your booking at manage). Cancel 48+ hours before your departure for a full refund; cancel 24–48 hours before for a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure are charged the full rate. You can reschedule any time another slot is available. And if we're the ones who cancel — for weather or dangerous conditions — you'll always get a full refund or the option to reschedule, regardless of timing.

We recommend booking at least a few days ahead, especially on weekends and holidays. Last-minute trips are often possible — the online calendar only shows dates far enough out to book yourself, so call or text us for anything sooner.

Our boat seats up to 6 guests. A private charter is a flat boat rate up to that capacity; shared cruises are priced per person, by the seat. For larger groups, please contact us to discuss options.

Buy one for any amount at gift certificates and we'll email it — with a printable PDF — to your recipient or to you. Enter the code when booking and we apply it to the trip total: pay the difference if your trip costs more, keep the remainder on the code if it costs less. Certificates never expire and carry no fees.

They go toward bookings with us and nothing else — not merchandise, food and drink, gratuities, or purchases from other businesses — and they aren't refundable or exchangeable for cash, though New York law lets you cash out a remaining balance under $5 on request. Full gift certificate terms.

The Trout House is a great local option right in the area. For camping, Rogers Rock Campground is right on the lake and close to where we depart.

The Hague Market is a local favorite for breakfast, sandwiches, snacks, and drinks before your boat ride.

Many guests head to Sullivan’s Firehouse for dinner after their trip. Note: Open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM; no reservations. If you want to keep exploring, take a drive up to The Wind-Chill Factory in Ticonderoga for amazing ice cream or another bite to eat.

Absolutely. A popular local plan is: stay at the Trout House, stop at the Hague Market for breakfast or sandwiches before your ride, then enjoy dinner at Sullivan’s Firehouse after the trip. Note: Open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM; no reservations. If you want one more stop, drive up to The Wind-Chill Factory for ice cream.

Free public parking is available at the Hague Town Beach Park (9060 Lake Shore Dr) or the Hague Steamer Dock (18 Dock Rd) — whichever is your pickup point. Trout House guests park on-property. See our meeting point page for addresses and directions.

Hague is about 45 minutes north of Lake George Village and 30 minutes north of Bolton Landing. The drive is scenic and well worth it — the northern end of the lake is the most beautiful stretch.

There are no restrooms on the boat, so we recommend using the facilities before departure — the Hague Town Beach has public restrooms. On longer trips we're glad to make a quick shore stop when needed.

Yes! We love having families aboard. Children of all ages are welcome, and we provide both adult and child life jackets.

Our boat is not pet friendly. We respectfully ask that you follow this policy.

Unfortunately, our boat is not wheelchair accessible due to the dock and boarding configuration. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.
